If you’re buying a home for sale in Bryn Mawr, you’ll be glad to know that there are plenty of places in and around town to enjoy this area’s natural beauty.
These are five of our favorite parks in and near Bryn Mawr – they’re definitely worth a visit:
Ashbridge Memorial Park is nestled at the corner of Airdale Road and Montgomery Avenue. It features two tennis courts, a beautiful walking path, a playground and 28.8 acres of open space where you can picnic, relax or play.
This dog-friendly park used to be part of an estate owned by John Evans. Today, Ithan Valley Park features fishing, a beautiful nature trail and a spectacular pond and stream.
Emlen Tunnell Park, owned by the Radnor Township School District, is a dog-friendly hotspot with a great playground, a baseball and softball diamond, and a large athletic field surrounded by a well-maintained walking track.
The Warner Avenue Park and Playground is cozy – it’s 0.8 acres in total – but it packs in a lot of fun. Featuring a basketball court, volleyball court, tot lot and kids’ playground, it’s a wonderful place to spend an afternoon.
Clem Macrone Park in Radnor Township provides an athletic field, a baseball and softball diamond, a beautiful environmental area and a pavilion, picnic areas and grills. It also features a playground, running trail, tennis court, basketball court and nature trails.
