Here is the Press Release for tomorrow’s Bryn Mawr Day happening from 9am -2 pm!

Bryn Mawr, PA –September 7, 2013 “The Third Annual Bryn Mawr Day celebration will be held, rain or shine, on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, from 9 am to 2 pm. This free family day of fun, food and festivities encompasses the entire town, including restaurants and local businesses, institutions and one-day-only special entertainment and performances. This year’s festivities are expected to draw crowds from Bryn Mawr and surrounding neighborhoods throughout the 6-hour giant party in Bryn Mawr.

This year will also be characterized by a number of firsts. A first for Bryn Mawr Day, 2013, is Radio Disney which will be hosting the Doc McStuffins Toy Clinic and will entertain the crowd with music and prizes. Children can bring their favorite stuffed animal to the Clinic, get a check-up on their toys and leave with a Doc McStuffins medical bag. Presenting sponsors for Bryn Mawr Day include: Bryn Mawr Periodontal Associates; Main Line’s Headquarters for quality dental care, The Camera Shop in Bryn Mawr, Main Line Media News, Restaurant Cerise, Bryn Mawr Hospital and Nemours.duPont Pediatrics.

Bryn Mawr Day kicks off at 9 am with The Farmers Market’s extensive array of specialty foods and The Willson Vocal Academy, followed by the Shipley Singers at 9:45am. The Circus will perform at 10:00am and 12:45. At 11 am, Radio Disney will have a presentation with Doc McStuffins.

At Noon, Elise Dadourian (a feature on WXPN radio), will be performing, followed by Blues Uprising at 1:30pm, while bus tours of historic Bryn Mawr and fire truck rides provide something for everyone.

“A Taste of Bryn Mawr” another first for this year, brings new as well as popular cuisine and culinary specialties for guest to experience. Thirst -quenching drinks, yogurt, popular cupcakes and more samples from a diverse range of restaurants.
