GETTING TO KNOW MARY BETH HURTADO
YOUR MAIN LINE REAL ESTATE AGENT

MB Zillow 2013 Head Shot

Do you love people and houses? So do I!
When you get to know me, Your Main Line Real Estate Agent, you will quickly notice that I love people and houses. Liking houses and people, however, does not a great Realtor make! What are the attributes of a great Realtor? Certainly a good disposition and a level of tenacity are components. Years of experience, especially in tough negotiations, ongoing education and knowledge of the current market and financial environment, coupled with day-to-day personal visits and awareness of the inventory, all go towards helping me to be the Main Line agent for you. Real estate to me is not a part time job. It is a full time passion.
Networks matter! We learn from each other. My friends are fellow Realtors, Mortgage Brokers, title officers, township employees, teachers and coaches. They are parents I have met while my children attended the Lower Merion Schools in Gladwyne, Narberth and Rosemont. They are associates with whom I have bonded while attending nail-biting Ashbee Lacrosse and Lower Merion Soccer Club games played by my children- Bryan, Alex and Betsy. My clients benefit from the connections I have formed with Main Line folks over the years. Need a plumber in Berwyn? I know one. If you need an Eye doctor in Radnor, pediatrician in Bryn Mawr, hair stylist in Wayne, babysitter in Villanova, personal trainer in Haverford? Just ask me!
Originally from Connecticut, I came to the magnificent Main Line area at the age of 18. During my freshman year at Villanova University, towards my eventual business degree, I decided the Main Line would become my home. I understood intuitively that this would be a jewel of a place to raise a family. The cultural attractions resulting from the dense placement of the local colleges and universities, coupled with some of the top rated public and private schools in the country, provided bountiful educational opportunities for my family.
My love affair with the fine architecture and unique properties in Montgomery, Chester and Delaware counties had begun. Now, many  years later, I am still excited when I preview and then show Main Line homes for sale in Gladwyne, Wayne, Bryn Mawr, Radnor, Lower Merion, Rosemont, Villanova, Berwyn, Haverford and all of the other Main Line Towns. I am fortunate enough to get an insider view of some of the loveliest properties ever built. Many of the most famous architects are rooted right here on the Main Line! I have seen many of the same properties more than once during my real estate career. This enables me to picture a specific house or neighborhood for my new clients as they share with me their wants and needs. I will match your desires to your dream home! I am matchmaker of sorts!
Real estate news comes to me daily from the various organizations of which I am a member. Trend MLS, Suburban West Realtors Association and the National Association of Realtors are just a few of the powerful sources which feed me information on the hottest topics. While I value my networks immensely, I value my family relationships even more. I live in Bryn Mawr with my husband, Eliot Lewis Esquire, who teams with me to help you! Between us we have nine children (Eliot has six to add to my three). They are all a delight! All of our children are independent and grown with the exception of my Betsy who graduates this year from Cornell. My two sons Bryan & Alex are graduates of the Temple University Law School Topping off the family is Xena our lovable, loyal Boxer and last but not least Gatsby our fun loving Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
I invite you to become my clients to buy or sell your Main Line home. Whether listing your main line home for sale or looking for Gladwyne, Villanova, Bryn Mawr, Radnor, Lower Merion, Rosemont, Berwyn, Ardmore or any other Main Line community real estate, I promise you an enjoyable and successful journey!
Best Regards!

Mary Beth Hurtado, Your Main Line Real Estate Agent
